La Leche League- Nutrition and Weaning

Our Mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

Tomorrow’s meeting will feature a SPECIAL GUEST all the way from sunny FL and information about weaning and improving nutrition for our families and ourselves. Come and bring your baby, friends, questions, learn from other mothers, and join in a guided discussion where every family’s experience is respected.

Meetings are free and held at The Nantucket Community School located at 56 Center Street. This month’s meeting will be held Friday April 24. We begin promptly at 9am but welcome you to join us up until 10:30. Please know I am also available to answer questions on the phone, via text, or Facebook between meetings. Breastfeeding isn’t always easy but help is available. Just ask!
