Newborn Care Classes
If you or someone you know is expecting or has a new baby in the home, then this class is for you. This free class was designed to fill the needs of parents as they plan for breastfeeding and/ or bottle feeding, gathering information on preventing SIDS, figuring out how much baby gear is really needed, preparing your life for the addition of a baby and the expectations vs reality of how that may look, bathing, soothing, and caring for your little one as well as your relationships are all part of this class. You may not leave knowing everything but you will develop tools for thriving as a new parent.
This class is offered for free through the generosity of the Community School but registration is required. Class consists of a 2 night series and will be offered once in September, again in November, and the last class in 2015 will be held in early December.
