Newborn Care Classes Forming Now

Becoming a new parent is a time of great growth and change. Gain the skills to feel prepared to care for your amazing newborn. In this two week class learn about preparing for your baby’s arrival, your baby’s senses in the first few weeks, how your baby communicates, the importance of playing with your baby, bathing and care of your baby, newborn hunger cues, feeding your newborn, growth spurts, nighttime parenting, how to take your baby’s temperature, when to call the doctor, new mother care including recovering from cesarean birth, realistic expectations, and baby proofing your relationship.This class is open to expectant parents and parents and their newborns.

Class will be held Wednesday Oct. 30 and Nov. 6 from 6:30-8:30pm at the High School in room 104A.
